songs stuck in my head (again with the country)

"Love's Been a Little Bit Hard on Me" is equally stuck but I'll just give you this one which is equally depressing!

JUICE NEWTON lyrics - Angel Of The Morning

(Chip Taylor)

There'll be no strings to bind your hands
Not if my love can't bind your heart
There's no need to take a stand
For it was I who chose to start
I see no need to take me home
I'm old enough to face the dawn

Just call me angel of the morning, Angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby
Just call me angel of the morning, Angel
Then slowly turn away from me

Maybe the sun's light will be dim
And it won't matter anyhow
If morning's echo says we we sinned
Well, it was what I wanted now
And if we're the victims of the night
I won't be blinded by light

Just call me angel of the morning, Angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby
Just call me angel of the morning, Angel
Then slowly turn away
I won't beg you to stay with me

Through the tears of the day
Of the years, ba-a-a-by
Just call me angel of the morning, Angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby
Just call me angel of the morning, Angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, darlin'
Just call me angel of the morning, Angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, darlin'

It's called an earworm. Google it, you'll see. I get them ALL the time. The other day it was the song Run by George Strait (again with the country.) The past couple days it's been In The Deep by Bird York. There's just something about that song that gets me every time. I can't seem to get enough of it. How Bird lost the Oscar to It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp is beyond me. Ugh!
